There have been concrete indications that Square Enix will make the demo available Final Fantasy VII Rebirth next week during State of Play. The PlayStation Game Size X account (formerly Twitter) discovered a mention of the demo on Sony’s servers, along with a reward for those who play it: Kupo Charm – Survival Kit.

Additionally, PlayStation Game Size also suggested that there will be some sort of save data transfer system, hinting that perhaps the progress made in the demo could be carried over to the full game.

Square Enix has a habit of doing demos of their new Final Fantasy games. The developer did this including the last installment in the franchise, Final Fantasy XVI, so it’s safe to assume we’ll be getting a demo of Rebirth.

Additionally, PlayStation Game Size claims that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will take up 145 GB of space on the PlayStation 5 SSD, and this pre-download will be available from February 27th.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second of a three-part Final Fantasy VII Remake project released in 1997, and continues the story after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake, when Cloud and his companions leave the city of Midgar to go after Sephiroth. .

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on February 29th exclusively for PlayStation 5, where it will be exclusive for at least three months.
