Square Enix hopes Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 will be ready in three years

Nomura notes that Yoshinori Kitase, the head of the Final Fantasy brand, suggested a very important idea about something that wasn’t in the original game, and Nomura is thinking about how to implement it. Kitase himself noted that one of the reasons for the success of Rebirth’s development was to keep the same working team as the previous installment, and with Part 3 it will be the same. Rebirth was made in three years, during the same time they hope to make the third part.
