Square Enix® today announced that OCTOPATH TRAVELER is now available for PlayStation®5 (PS5®) and PlayStation®4 (PS4®), and that OCTOPATH TRAVELER II is available for the first time on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, so now you can play this award-winning RPG series on all modern consoles and on PC (Windows PC and STEAM®).
Square Enix also announced that starting today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to enjoy all of OCTOPATH on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, as OCTOPATH TRAVELER and OCTOPATH TRAVELER II are available in the download catalog.

Since its release in 2018, OCTOPATH TRAVELER has sold over four million copies worldwide* and popularized the HD-2D art style; a stunning combination of 2D characters in beautiful 3D worlds. Both games are standalone experiences set in different worlds with eight very unique characters, each with their own stories to explore and actions to use. During the game, we will go on a great adventure, the course of which will depend on the character we choose.
In celebration of the OCTOPATH series now being available on all modern consoles and PCs (Windows PC and STEAM®), the Asano team has released a free update for OCTOPATH TRAVELER II that includes additional battles that can be accessed after defeating the final boss in the last chapter. In this additional combat mode, we can test our skills by facing new, very difficult opponents, among which the protagonists of OCTOPATH TRAVELER. This mode is available on Xbox consoles after today’s launch and has been added to the PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC versions via an update.
OCTOPATH TRAVELER and OCTOPATH TRAVELER II are now available on all modern consoles and PC (Windows PC and STEAM®) and can be purchased individually or as a bundle.
