Despite the scientific research, the origin of or created water on the ground remains a mystery. The most popular explanation is that it has arrived on our planet on board asteroids and meteorites in the early years.
However, recent studies from Oxford University challenge this theory by examining the origin of the oceans.

Analysis of meteorite and its hydrogen composition
