A group of beekeepers of the village of San -Kuan -de -Des, the municipality of San Francisco, Peten, was trained in the technical management, with a focus on sealing of hives, a methodology that allows to optimize the production and improvement of the health of bees.
The activity was developed by the Department of Agricultural Development Department (DAGRO) Vice -minister, which is responsible for the affairs of the Peten (VIPETén), within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animals and Foods (Maga) performs to strengthen the technical capabilities of manufacturers and sustainable steady bee.
During the day, the local manufacturer also delivered the Guatemala Register of respect (Regapi), which contributed to the order and formalization of the beekeeping sector in the region.
