Apple is preparing one of the largest updates Apple Health recent years. The company will launch an updated version of its health app during 2026, integrated into iOS 26.4with the goal of turning it into a much more complete tool.

So, after announcing a number of new features for Apple Fitness+, it’s soon the turn of Apple Health, which is loaded with new features to offer the ultimate user experience.

A simpler and better organized design

For starters, Apple is working on a general redesign of Apple Health Simplifies navigation and reorganizes categories to make finding metrics and recording data faster and more intuitive. As the app has grown, many users have found it complex and confusing, and this update aims to fix that.

And yes, artificial intelligence will play a key role in all of this. Apparently, Apple is working on a AI health agent is able to analyze all the data collected by the user’s devices and offer personalized recommendations for exercise, rest, nutrition and general well-being.

This assistant will use the entire context of the user, crossing information about physical activity, sleep, heart rate and nutrition. Additionally, an advanced feature is being explored that would use the iPhone’s rear camera to analyze exercises in real-time and correct posture or technique, something that could be integrated with Apple Fitness+ in the future.

As for the release date of these new features, everything points to iOS 26.4 coming in the spring, so we’ll know all the details in a few months.
