Epic Games server is down: Epic games servers seem to be down, many users are reporting problems connecting to the server and logging in. According to the outage-tracking website DownDetector, there was a significant spike in complaints from 10 p.m. Gamers took to social media to express their frustration as popular titles such as Fortnite and Epic Games Launcher were affected by the outage.
Most users report problems connecting to the server, accounting for 54 percent of complaints. In addition, 42 percent of users experience problems logging in, making it difficult to access their accounts. Also, about 4 percent of users reported gameplay-related crashes.
As of 10:55 p.m., more than 122 complaints related to server issues were filed on the crash tracking site. People have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to complain about the issues, with some suggesting that all Epic Launcher games may be affected.
“why must epic games servers shut down literally the minute i try to play fortnite MAAAN,” wrote a frustrated user on X.
“I can’t download the epic games launcher @EpicGames,” another user tweeted.
“@FortniteStatus, I’m getting an error message when signing in that says you’re visiting our services too often. I just got home from a family member with my PS5 and want to play on my computer now I’m at home and can’t help,” X users wrote.
“@FortniteStatus why can’t I log into epic games launcher I’ve tried everything,” another user wrote.
