The rumored Hatsune Miku Fortnite skin is real, and Epic Games announced all the details today.
The long-awaited Hatsune Miku skin has been rumored for a long time Fortnite. Now Epic Games has confirmed the partnership, in which she will become the icon of the 7th season of the festival. Information leaks have been happening for several months. Perhaps this information and disclosure should put their minds at ease. Fortnite Festival Season 7 kicks off with version 33.20 on January 14th, with two awesome Hatsune Miku packs available for purchase.
The singing synthesizer turned global superstar is featured in over 100,000 songs and shines on stages around the world. Players can unlock Hatsune Miku outfits, instruments, and more in the Music Pass, which is now a single track with free and premium rewards (matches other passes in Fortnite). You’ll still unlock free rewards by earning XP in either Fortnite experience, and purchasing a Music Pass will allow you to unlock premium rewards in the same way as free rewards. You can purchase the Music Pass for 1400 V-Bucks or get it through the Fortnite Crew!
The cool part about Music Pass is that it’s now one track with free and premium styling. It’s part of a new unified progression system where you can progress through all the passes in Fortnite, earning XP for any experience you want to play. Shatter Sonic Guitar is the latest free reward in Music Pass. The pass also includes four Jam tracks as free rewards, including two tracks from Harmonix’s Dropmix and FUSER, and a new Epic original!

The launch of Season 7 of the Festival comes with a brand new local multiplayer feature on PlayStation and Xbox! In a local gaming session on the festival’s main stage, up to four players can play together on one console. All players need to play in the lobby, and then go to the main stage of the festival together. To use this feature, each local player must be logged in with both an active Epic Games account and a platform account (guest accounts are not allowed on the platform). The Epic Games account you’re signed in with should allow T-rated experiences. This should be a major rollback to this Hero band or Rock band days.
In keeping with the themes of honoring Japanese culture and mythology in Season 1 Chapter 6, these themes have been carried over to the Music Pass. The aura of the paper lantern and the traditional electric bass of the Shiamisen allow players to do just that. For Hatsune Miku fans, players can grab the Neko Miku Keytar and light up the stage with the Neko Miku Guitar. It also comes in different colors like purple instead of pink, with the Miku Brite Neko Miku Keytar style unlocked. Unlock M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE ♥ SHOOT! Jam Track feat. SAWTOWNE’s Hatsune Miku is also at the end of the pass.
