Virtual pop star Hatsune Miku joins Fortnite Festival with new skins, tools and other crossover items. The collaboration will add free and premium rewards for music-themed fans Fortnite spinoff
The addition of Miku to Fortnite is no surprise, given that Season 6 of the battle royale honors Japanese culture and history. It’s only fitting that his musical spinoff would add the biggest Japanese pop star in the world, in a way.
This season’s music pass will include one track for 1400 V-Bucks. You can earn his free rewards by gaining XP through either Fortnite experience.

The update also adds a new local multiplayer feature on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Players don’t need to join an online hall and can connect up to four controllers to a single console for local jam sessions.

More Hatsune Miku inspired items are being added to the Fortnite store this season.
The new trailer shows the idol performing her song “Miku (Anamanaguchi, Hatsune Miku)” on stage at the Fortnite festival. You can also see some of the new additions this season in the trailer.
There are many other changes in the coming season. For starters, Battle Stage gets four new game modes. Those who play both Fortnite battle royale and Fortnite Festival will now be able to equip tools as picks and backs, adding more value to their purchases.
Festival Fortnite season 7 will begin on January 14, 2025. and will end on April 8, 2025.
