Between the destruction of Godzilla and the possibility of Hatsune Miku’s concert, Fortnite fans can’t wait to try out the new content coming in V33.20. Here are all the details we know so far so you’re ready to take on the titans that will be added soon.

Hatsune Miku

Hatsune Miku is the biggest addition to Fortnite coming out tomorrow. Fortnite Crew subscribers will get her for free via Music Pass as she is the main star of the Festival: Season 7 rewards system. The introduction of Japan’s biggest digital superstar will also mark the new season of Fortnite Festival, so you can expect a lot of exciting features.

Hatsune Miku’s likeness will be added in two separate skins. As mentioned above, the first outfit will be part of the Music Pass, while the second outfit will be sold for V-Bucks in the Item Shop. There’s also a good chance that there will be a Hatsune Miku concert at some point in Chapter 6, especially considering Snoop Dogg got two live events when he headlined the previous Music Pass.

Music Pass updates tomorrow, February 14th. We know that Hatsune Miku will be the idol of Season 7, but there may still be cosmetic items that haven’t been revealed yet. The Music Pass costs 1,400 V-Bucks and is included with Fortnite Crew members, so there are several ways to purchase the cosmetics.

While the LBC 93′ Dogg outfit will soon be leaving the Music Pass, you may still be able to purchase the fan-favorite skin in a future item shop. The next Fortnite festival is just one night away, so get ready for a burst of Japanese culture with Hatsune Miku and her music. Tools will also likely be implemented tomorrow in the form of pads and picks, so there’s something to look forward to even if Hatsune Miku isn’t your thing.

Godzilla

Godzilla is confirmed to be part of the Chapter 6 Battle Pass as an extra reward. The monstrous creature will be unlockable from January 17th, and a trailer has just been released showing that Godzilla will also be implemented as a boss on the Island.

Some X Liquor like HYPEX have also shared possible information with Fortnite Australia that Godzilla may destroy the bridge on the map in Chapter 6, which is the main point of interest. If a fan-favorite POI is destroyed, it will most likely lead to the creation of an entirely new location, which may just be a broken bridge with a new name.

Become a monster

ShiinaBR recently shared the latest Fortnite message hinting that players can become Godzilla. This could refer to an upcoming skin, though the leaker believes it points to the possibility of becoming a legendary creature in terms of size and all.

Regardless of how Godzilla works in Fortnite, it will be fun to have the Japanese icon in our favorite battle royale. There may even be a clash of the biggest beasts, as King Kong will also be jumping into Fortnite soon.

King Kong

King Kong was leaked for Fortnite back in December, but now those rumors have been confirmed with a car decal in the new Godzilla trailer. We don’t have a lot of information on the Kong vs. Godzilla collaboration, but it’s likely to be a boss and an outfit.

Past events in Fortnite indicate that Kong may be getting a spot in the upcoming Event Pass, although Epic Games has not confirmed this. There are a lot of interesting ways to introduce King Kong to Fortnite, but we’ll have to wait until January 17th to get some definitive answers.

New Loot Pool

Like any update in Fortnite, Epic Games will increase the loot pool to some extent. There’s a possibility of new Oni masks or even sprites, but we don’t yet know what the third party has in store for us.

Another type of sword was just introduced in Chapter 6’s arsenal, so we probably won’t see any meta-changing equipment unless it’s related to Godzilla or another crossover. Winterfest items will most likely persist after V33.20, so eat your mints while you still can.
