When you hear “PS2” and “Windows 95”, you probably think someone has forgotten on a squint and talking about the periphery, but not-is a lot of hacking in the Sony PlayStation 2, the most sold console of all times and peoples. (Merabyte) goes us through a possibly inappropriate task of installing Windows 95 on the latest equipment that is in Microsoft if you support the video you can watch below.
Obviously, the MIPS Emotions Engine at the PS2 center will not be able to handle X86 Win95 instructions, but all this is solved by emulation magic. (Merabyte) is a Bochs version, the X86 emulator, which was built for PS/2 after trying and not installing Windows (as 3.1 and 95) in the Dosbox experimental assembly.
As expected, this is not a smooth journey for (Merabyte), but defrosting and troubleshooting creates for entertainment. After loading it works amazingly well because everything works at all. Unfortunately, neither the mouse nor the Ultimate Doom 95 worked. We assume that ultimately means that this hacking does not work, as even doom can launch death. Perhaps the mouse is also important.
If you have a PlayStation 2, perhaps miss Windows 95 and try launching Golang. If you have a DOOM that works on PlayStation 2, send us advice. There has never been an official release for PS2, but after 26 years someone probably has done it so far.
