As part of the launch in Chile’s new Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 we talked with Elias Insurance, Master Dee Samsung ChileAbout the historical evolution of the family of complex and basic stages that turned this series into a link to the market of complex smartphones.

A commitment to visual innovation: Fold3
In 2021, the Galaxy Z Fold3 introduced an important shift, becoming the first complex smartphone with a built -in camera. This innovation became a technical jump that improved the visualization experience, offering a more clean and uniform panel for those who consumed multimedia content.
“Galaxy Z Fold3 was the first to integrated the camera under the screen that allowed to enjoy the contents without losing a visible place on the screen”.
In addition, Fold3 encountered the resistance problem by including the certification against water, more reliable materials such as aluminum armor and corrosion, sustainable hinge and technology to prevent the entry into dust.
Big Strength: Fold4
Galaxy Z Fold4 (2022) arrived with design improvements and, above all, perfection in the hinge. The goal was to answer one of the problems in the market: resistance intensive use.

The arrival of the Galaxy AI meant integration of expanded features as an instant translation, automatic summary of texts and creative support tools directly in a complex device. With this Samsung not only made innovation at the equipment level, but opened a new path in use, where artificial intelligence began to be the main character in performance and mobile entertainment.
Ultra thin era: Fold7
Galaxy Z Fold7 (2025) debuted both the subtle and lightest marketing of the market, with a total of 215 grams and 4.1 mm thickequivalent to four credit cards.
“Today we arrive in the Galaxy Z Fold7, with 215 grams, the lightest in the series. We confirm this with confidence because other models were presented as the lightest and were denied”.
This emphasis on the ease and accuracy of measures seeking to strengthen the Samsung position against the competitive market, where each detail is analyzed by a millimeter.

Post-pandemic vision and closure of the cycle
The interlocutor also reflects on how the consumer changed after the pandemic, looking for more complete devices that could replace several tools in one.

With these benefits, the Galaxy Z Fold7 seeks to replace features that previously required several different equipment, combining performance and advanced photo in one device.
