Jakarta – Almost two months ago, HMD launched the Touch 4G, a hybrid device that combines the functionality of a smartphone within a smartphone with many features.

Today, HMD released another interesting device designed for children and developed together with the Norwegian brand Xplora.
HMD’s XploraOne is similar in concept to the HMD Touch 4G, but with a clear focus on kid-friendliness.

Although the specifications and price of this device have not been announced, you can notice the similarity of its design with the HMD Touch 4G.
The smartphone has a similar compact touchscreen display, a selfie camera and a home button on the front panel. There is a single camera at the back and an LED flash.

We also see a physical SIM card slot on the left side, and power and volume buttons on the right side. There appear to be additional buttons on the top, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone also has advanced parental controls and no third-party apps, web browsers, or social networks. HMD and Xplora are expected to share more details about the XploraOne soon.
