A blizzard confirmed the launch Diablo IV on Steam. The hit computer game was released on June 5 Art Battle.net, Blizzard’s own launch program that also includes Overwatch. The Valve platform will arrive on October 17, 2023.
The update will be released the same day 1.2.0one of season 2 Season of blood, with new vampire abilities that Blizzard revealed in this blog post announced during the live presentation. Of course, it will be released simultaneously on PlayStation and Xbox.
Some of the new features include five new post-game bosses, more activity, and most importantly for many players, will “significantly” increase the experience you gain to reduce the time it takes to reach level 100.

Blizzard is capitulating to Steam, while Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 are on Valve’s platform
Last summer, Blizzard announced that its games would be released on Steam, the platform with the most users on Steam, starting with Overwatch 2 on August 10th.
The release of Diablo IV on Steam represents another concession to Valve’s platform and an admission that it can’t compete with them, although Mike Ibarra said that Battle.net will remain a priority going forward.
“Players will have another platform to play their games on using the power of Steam, and developers will benefit from having the talented team at Blizzard helping us develop supported features and functions for Overwatch 2.Gabe Newell said at the time.
As with Overwatch 2, players will need to connect to the game through a Battle.net account (just like on any other platform).
Remember that on October 17th, you’ll be able to play Diablo IV on Steam at the same time as Season 2, Season of the Blood, which in addition to new content, increase experience gain to avoid crushing.
