Getting a Mac for 699 euros and without having to buy anything separately, as in the case of the Mac mini, is already tempting. This is the case with the new MacBook Neo, which may even be much cheaper if you are a student or teacher. A discount of up to 100 euros applies to them.
It also means that for the €699 that the base model now costs for the general public, they can get a more advanced model that includes a 512GB SSD and Touch ID. Although there are also discounts on the 256GB model, of course.
Requirements you must meet
In order to access the Apple student discounts in Spain, a number of requirements must be met, all linked to the UNiDAYS platform, where they must be registered and verified with one of the following profiles:
- Students of higher educational institutions (university, higher degree, master’s degree, etc.) who have enrolled or enrolled in Spanish educational centers.
- Parents who act on behalf of their childwhich must meet the student requirements above.
- Sweet personalnte administrative educational centers, public or private, but from Spain.
When purchasing at a physical Apple Store, it will be enough to bring a student card, registration or any other document from the educational center that confirms the status of a student or teacher. Although it can also be done online, as we will tell you later.

Besides the MacBook Neo, which is clearly aimed at profiles such as students, there are other Apple devices that have interesting discounts and that require the same requirements to be met.

Here’s how you can “claim” a discount on Apple’s website
If you choose to purchase through the online Apple Store, you must log in to the Apple Student website. There you will see real student prices like the ones we mentioned earlier.
At the time of purchase you must identify yourself with your UNiDAYS account (Apple itself will redirect you to it). If you don’t have an account before, you can create one immediately.
Then the next steps the same as a “regular” purchase without being a student. You will need to select the device model, color and other features that support the configuration. As for delivery, it can be requested to your home (or another address) or picked up at an Apple Store.
