Credicorp announces that BCP will acquire 100% of Helm Bank in the US | YOUR MONEY

Credicorp, a Peruvian financial services holding company with operations in Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, Panama and the United States, announced today that its subsidiary, Credit Bank of Peru (“BCP”), entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Helm Bank USA (“Helm Bank”).

The transaction will amount to USD 180 million, which will be subject to customary adjustments upon closing of the transaction.

As of September 30, 2025, Helm Bank, a community bank authorized for operation in the state of Florida (United States of America), it had USD 1,141.8 million in assets and USD 106.8 million in net worth.

“We believe the transaction strengthens Credicorp’s strategy to enhance its cross-border capabilities to serve internationally active clients and strengthens its ability to meet the growing needs of Latin American clients, while maintaining Helm Bank’s legacy as a community-focused institution,” the group said in a statement.
