Team Beef RazeXR released SideQuest this weekend for free, a launcher that lets you play some glorious 90s games on Quest and PICO headsets: Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Redneck Rampage, Shadow Warrior, Exhumed/Powerslave, NAM, WWII in Platoon commander. All in 6Dof, with some VR options and rendering improvements.
After installation we will see two new entries of unknown origin, RazeXRwhich includes a demonstration Duke Nukem 3D in case we don’t have the original, and RazeXR Launcherapp from which to run this classic 3D Kingdom from 1996 and the rest of the compatible must-have games on PC.
To enjoy all these titles in VR, you have to follow the instructions that we will find (basically, it involves copying some files from your PC). In the case of Duke Nukem, this mod provides VR support for Atomic Edition, World Tour and Duke Nukem 3D v1.3.
This treat for fans of retro video games has been available and tested for several months by those who support this team of modders through their Patreon account, who now have the privilege of playing the game already.
