As we told you in our impressions after trying it a few days ago, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail “will strive to be promising starting point which Square Enix starts with another decade of great adventure“.
Downtrail introduces many new features and allows us to explore a new continent under the name Turalknown as the New World, located west of Eorzea, with picturesque landscapes full of vegetation, mountains and beachesoffering a significant change in tone from previous expansions.

In addition, players will be able to enjoy new quests from Hildibrand and explore new regions and cities of Tural, such as the districts of Urkapacha and Kazamavka, as well as the capital city of Taliolal.
Combat has been optimized with the introduction of a new grouping mechanic one button combo skills, which simplifies combos and reduces the number of keys needed, which is especially useful for players with controls. Expansion also brings a noticeable improvement in graphics, with more detailed character modeling, better textures, and more complex effects, while maintaining artistic consistency with previous versions. The soundtrack, which has always been a strong point of the series, promises to continue to dazzle with new tunes adapted to new environments and game situations.
