Motorola has announced the arrival in Mexico of the Motorola edge 70, a smartphone with an ultra-slim design, high-resolution photography and AI-powered features. The device is presented as the slimmest model in its category and with Android 16 since its launch.
The Motorola edge 70 is 9.9mm thick and has an aircraft-grade aluminum construction paired with Pantone-selected finishes and colors. According to the company, the design aims to offer a more comfortable user experience without compromising on resistance or performance.
Despite its thin profile, edge 70 has IP68 and IP69 water and dust protection, MIL-STD-810H certifications and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which allows it to withstand harsh environmental conditions and intensive daily use.
Features of photography and artificial intelligence
The device combines a 50 MP triple camera system consisting of a main camera with 4K video recording, a 50 MP ultra-wide + macro lens and a 50 MP front camera. The set is complemented by optical image stabilization (OIS), Pantone color verification and a 3-in-1 light sensor.
These features are supported by moto ai which includes features like Corporate style, Action Shot in Group shotin addition to tools focused on productivity, contextual search and content creation.
The Motorola edge 70 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a 4,800mAh battery with silicon and carbon technology that provides up to 38 hours of mixed use, according to the manufacturer. When charging, it supports TurboPower 68W wired and 15W wireless.
The device has been running Android 16 since it was first turned on, integrating improvements to privacy, personalization, and features like Circle to Search and Google Gemini compatibility.
The Motorola edge 70 is now available in Mexico for 12,999 Mexican pesos via motorola.com.mx, Motorola stores, mobile operators and department stores in the country.
