According to director Naoki Hamaguchi, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can get add-ons in one of its mini-games: the Queen’s Blood card game. The fan-favorite game may get new maps in the future.
“We haven’t decided anything yet in terms of the future development of Queen’s Blood, but so far the media that has played it has received very positive feedback, so we want to consider future expansions as a possibility.“, – said Hamaguti in an interview with Red Bull.
In Queen’s Blood, the player must use cards to dominate the board and score more points than their opponent. The maps are based on monsters and characters from the Final Fantasy VII universe, and each one has its own special features.
