There are rumors that the iPhone 17 Air can replace the PLUS model and offer a high and great iPhone option, but I don’t hope this revolution in Apple’s phones.
In addition, the probable improvement of the chips of the series A seems that this year will become a great change for the iPhone. So, my impression is that you do not need to be too excited about the next Apple event in terms of phones, but you can ensure that the iPhone 17 again offers the best iPhone experience, even if it is only a gradual improvement regarding the iPhone 16.

So, I think Apple focus a little more on new AI features that will come with new iPhones, in addition to the selection of those that were discovered at the WWDC 2025 with the presentation of iOS 26.
I hope the Cupertino team really focuses on Apple Intelligence features that will be available iPhone 17 as soon as I remove it out of the box, instead, there may be a regional or issued release. Of course, if you have an iPhone 16, almost confidently you can perform these features after updating, but that doesn’t mean you should see the Apple event -oriented on the iPhone 17.
