Smilegate Studios and bHaptics have teamed up to make Crossfire: Sierra Squad fully immersive using TactSuit accessories (TactSuit X40 Vest, Tactosy for Arms and TactVisor) on both PC VR and PSVR2. In addition, the Steam version that was released in early access received a patch with improvements.

bHaptics Tactsuit features compatible with Crossfire: Sierra Squad:
- Sensing Targeted Damage When Hit by a Grenade: Players feel the impact starting from the ground and moving up their body.
- Tactile heartbeat slows down when players fall. The heartbeat quickens again when it reappears.
- Players can feel the stimulant flowing through their body when they use it.
- Shot Directional Sensation: Players feel hits where they are shot.
- Powerful hand-to-hand combat trackers: Players feel hit in hand-to-hand combat.

PC VR Improvements Patch:
- Textbook Company Updated (Story 01)
- Removing sections that didn’t add much to the game and slowed it down (chasing a gang member, shooting a hammer to open a door, etc.).
- More fight sequences
- The default weapon equipped behind the right shoulder slot now has a proper magazine that allows for one-handed reloading.
- More weapons (DMR, Shotgun) on the map for players to experiment with.
- Integration with bHaptics
- Interface, menu and interaction improvements

Additionally, VIVE XR Elite and VIVE Pro 2 users will notice better button mapping on their controllers. Finally, this patch fixes some bugs, such as vibration in the controls that occurred when firing from an empty magazine, errors in the colors of the buttons in Arcade and Realism modes, drops on the map, etc.
