Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the price growth on the PlayStation 5 console in the US.
Increasing prices similar to what is previously produced in other territories such as Europe or Japan will be applied immediately on August 21, 2025.
According to the Japanese company, this is a reaction to a “complex economic scenario” without resorting to the contradictory tariffs implemented by the Trump administration.
At the moment, they have specified, prices are only rising on the console, and this movement does not affect the periphery and accessories for their modern consoles.
