Sony Interactive Entertainment announces that the app Sony Pictures Core, formerly known as Bravia Core, is now available on the PS5 and PS4 consoles. Therefore, the PlayStation gaming community will be able to access some of the commemorative titles of Sony Pictures through your console.

- Exclusive benefits of this app include early access to a selection of Sony Pictures movies.
Formerly known as Brava Core, the app that provided access to a wide range of recent and classic Sony Pictures movies on Bravia XR TVs and Xperia devices will be rebranded as Sony Pictures Core on those devices from next year, and it’s already available as an app on consoles today.
Once players register, they can buy or rent up to 2000 movies directly from the console. On release date they will include blockbusters like Spider-Man: Crossing the Multiverse, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Uncharted, The Protector, No Bad Things, Bullet Train and Ghostbusters: Afterlifeamong other things.

In addition, Sony Pictures Core on PS5 and PS4 will allow you to purchase a selection of Sony Pictures movies during an exclusive early access period. The PlayStation Plus Premium users will have access to the selected directory to 100 movies which will be playable on demand from the library as part of the subscription.
