Square Enixthe video game company behind franchises such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts has announced that will port its NFT-based game Symbiogenesis to the Arbitrum network, a Tier 2 solution on Ethereum. This decision aims to drastically reduce gas tariffs, making them a thousand times cheaper.
Symbiogenesis, an NFT focused game, launched its first batch of characters on the Ethereum mainnet, while other assets were minted on Polygon. With this new strategy, 1,500 additional NFT tokens will be released in a public auction that started yesterday, May 31.
