Square Enix announced last Monday (1st) that it has held a new round of shares for the developers who stood out inside. Among the names currently on the company’s executive board is Naoki Hamaguchi, the director responsible for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
The company also promoted Tomoya Asano, who lent his name to the famous Asano team responsible for games like Bravely Default and Triangle Strategy. As such, they now have responsibilities similar to those of established names from the developer, such as Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase.
Who also won an award at Square Enix Takeshi Nozue, who has a long history of contributing to the Final Fantasy series. He was responsible for the work on the animation scenes in games such as Final Fantasy IX, X and X-2, as well as the animation production of Kingslaive: Final Fantasy XV.
Square Enix is undergoing a transformation
Square Enix also revealed that Takamasa Shiba and Takayuki Hamada have also joined the roster of senior executives. The notes are part of a transformation process for the company, which recently decided to reduce the number of external partners it depends on.
