Riot Games has released the official patch notes for the League of Legends 25.S1.1which coincides with the start of the new season January 9, 2025. This season focuses on the theme of Noxus, introducing a new twist to the Summoner’s Rift. In addition to Atakhan, the new Epic Monster, the game introduces many modifications that are expected to affect the LoL meta.

League of Legends patch 25.S1.1 champions fans
W (Poison Barrel)
- Slow quantity: 30/35/40/45/50% (+5% per 100 AP) → 30/35/40/45/50% (+6% per 100 AP)
Champion adjustments in League of Legends patch 25.S1.1
1) Ash
Passive (Frost Shot)
- Damage: 115% + Crit% → 100% + Crit%
- Damage status: Slowed by Frostbolt → Always
Q (Ranger’s Focus)
- Damage: 105/110/115/120/125% → 110/115/120/125/130%
- Attack Speed: 25/32.5/40/47.5/55% → 25/35/45/55/65%
W (volley)
- Damage: 20/35/50/65/80 + 100% total AD → 60/95/130/165/200 + 100% bonus AD
2) Callista
Basic statistics
- Increased mana recovery: 0.4 → 0.8
Passive (Combat Balance)
- Dash calculation has been rebuilt
- Base Attack Speed: Now the relevant links. This is a buff of about 8%.
- Attack Speed Factor: The the attack speed slowing effect is halved. The attack speed increase still has full effect.
- Speed multiplier: Multiply by (1 – Slow%) → Multiply by (0.2% of total movement speed + 0.28). It’s usually close to 100% and now benefits from extra movement speed and is more resistant to being slowed. The minimum multiplier is 48%.
- Dash Animation: Restored Kalista’s basic attack dash animation.
Q (Pierce)
- Damage: 20/85/150/215/280 + 105% total AD → 10/75/140/205/270 + 105% total AD
- Mana cost: 50/55/60/65/70 → 60/65/70/75/80
E (break)
- Losses per additional stack: 8/12/16/20/24 + 25/30/35/40/45% total AD → 7/14/21/28/35 + 20/25/30/35/40% total AD
3) Varus

- Mana cost: 65/70/75/80/85 → 50/55/60/65/70
W (Corrupted Quiver)
- Impact Damage: 13/8/18/23/28 → 12/6/18/24/30

Subject changes
1) Curse of Bloodletting
- Price: 2900 gold
- Item recipe: Apparition + Devil’s Codex + 750 gold
- Ability Power: 60
- health: 350
- Ability Haste: 15
- Abominable Decay: Taking magic damage from an ability or passive on a champion reduces their magic resistance by 5% for 6 seconds, up to 30%.
2) Heartsteel
- Colossal damage from consumption: 80 + 12% additional health from items → 70 + 3% from maximum health.
- Colossal health consumption bonus: 12% → 10% of the damage dealt by Colossal Consumption is taken as maximum health.
3) Endless despair
- Item recipe: Chain Vest + Kindlegem + Ruby Crystal ⇒ Aegis of the Legion + Giant’s Belt
- Unique – Longing: Every 5 seconds during a champion fight, deal 30-50 (depending on level) + 3% bonus health magic damage to nearby enemy champions and heal for 250% of the damage taken → Every 4 seconds during a champion fight, deal 3% bonus health Health + 8-15 (based on level) magic damage to nearby enemy champions and heals for 250% of damage taken.

- Magic Resistance: 0 → 25
4) Warmog’s armor
- Item recipe: Giant’s Belt + Winged Moonboard + Crystal Bracers → Giant’s Belt + Giant’s Belt + Crystal Bracers
- Bonus movement speed: 4% ⇒ 0
- Warmog Heart Health Requirements: Gives Warmog’s Heart when you have a minimum of 1500 health bonus → 2000 health bonus
- Passive – Heart of Warmog: Regenerate 2.5% of max health every 0.5 seconds and gain 4% bonus movement speed if no damage has been taken in the last 6 seconds → Regenerate 3% of max health if no damage has been taken in the last 8 seconds.

New runes
Stealth Wards placed in the enemy jungle count Deepand after level 11 Stealth Wards located in the River are considered Deep too. Deep Wards gain 1 extra health and +30-45 seconds duration (+30-120 seconds for Yellow Trinket Stealth Wards).
2) The sixth sense
Automatic ping of untracked and invisible wards within 900 units. After level 11, Sixth Sense will also open Ward for 10 seconds. 300 second cooldown for melee champions, 360 second cooldown for ranged champions.
3) Terrible memos
Get 4 trinkets for every champion you kill. In modes where this doesn’t make sense (like ARAM), get 2 Summoner speed instead, maxing out at 50. In non-warded modes, all players who choose Deep Ward or Sixth Sense will automatically be replaced with Grisly Mementos.
4) Axiom of the porter
The damage, healing and/or defense of your ultimate is increased by 14% (reduced to 9% for AoE abilities). Destroying enemy champions restores 7% of the current remaining cooldown of your ultimate.
