Jakarta – another surprise is made by Trio Makan. The fourth generation of this legendary Dangdut Koplo group known as Trio Makan Zen Z has officially released their first single titled “Mingir-Mingir (Kasih Paham Bose)” by Agi Sugianto. The experiment was recently conducted at Arjuka One Satrio in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Agi Sugianta, who is also the CEO of PT Media Musik ProAktif, explained that the song is not only the debut of three new faces, but also a long journey summed up in one piece.

“The single Mingir-Mingir, Kasih Understand Bass tells the story of the journey of the Makan trio from the first to the fourth generation, that is to generation Z,” said Agi Sugianta.
He said that this song was created with an approach that suits the current market taste.

“The song was created to reflect the nuances of eastern Indonesian music that the public likes now,” he explained.
Agi also did not hide his pride for the singer’s participation in it.
“Coincidentally, the arranger who wrote the song ‘Tabola Bale’ is an arranger,” he said.
Out of a hundred applicants, three were selected
Helen, Gaia and Inton are not names that come out of nowhere. All three went through a rigorous selection process involving hundreds of candidates from different parts of Indonesia.
“Thanks to the advancement of technology, we have conducted online selection through multiple stages including voice tests and interviews. Hundreds of applicants came from different areas and were selected, leaving only five candidates who were eligible to participate in the week-long quarantine in Jakarta. Finally, Helen, Gaia and Intan were chosen as the new generation, Helen, Gaia and Intan.
According to Aga, the three have different vocal roles and choreography, but they really complement each other on stage.

Intan admits that the audition process was a stressful and emotional experience.
“I was very happy, very tense, nervous because there were a lot of people and only three people were examined,” he said.
