Pokémon TCG Japan’s Future Flash features a Swablu Illustration Rare and an Altaria Special Illustration Rare that join together to tell a story.
Pokemon TCG Japan has started teasing October 2023 Scarlet and purpleera sister sets. These two sets are “Raven Moon” themed. An ancient roar and on the Iron Valiant theme Flash of the future. Both sets hit shelves on October 27th, just one month after Terry Garchomp Crazy surf, who is also currently teasing. These expansions will introduce new Future and Ancient mechanics that reference Paradox Pokémon. We’ve already seen Paradox Pokemon like Iron Treads and Great Tusk before Scarlet and purple sets, but Art Pokemon TCG basically held those special species back for the next wave of expansions. It has already been confirmed that these sets will be combined with Crazy surf reconcile Scarlet and Purple – Paradox Riftwhich will be our English language Pokemon TCG set for November 2023. Rumor has it that Scarlet and Purple – Paradox Rift will also be paired with cards from the upcoming Japanese ex-starter sets with Tera Mewtwo ex and Tera Skeledirge ex, but we can’t confirm yet. Today, let’s take a look at a couple of recently discovered secret rare items.
Swablu and its evolution Altaria are getting a two-card Illustrative Rare/Special Illustrative Rare sequence in Flash of the future an artist There is Sasumo. These two cards tell a story of growth and love as young Svabloo grows up among a pack of Wingals. On Altaria ex Special Illustration Rare, we see Swablu evolved but still flying with his Wingull family. This is one of the strongest illustrated rare pairs we’ve had in a while Pokemon TCG started with these. In a way, it’s a shame that alternative art Sword and shield were much more popular than these because they have everything Alt Arts has, but the storytelling between the cards adds such a tangible element of depth.
