FromSoftware’s Bloodborne remains one of the best games on the PlayStation 4, and since its release nine years ago, fans have been clamoring for an updated PC version, as well as the current 60 FPS PlayStation 5.

Unfortunately, it never came to fruition, although for a while it seemed close. According to Imran Khan (former editor-in-chief of Game Informer, Fanbyte and co-host of Kinda Funny), a PC and PlayStation 5 version was previously in development but never released. “haven’t heard anything in years, literally” about this project, so we assume it may have been cancelled.
Khan has to be considered a reliable source, and we have no idea why this happened considering how popular Bloodborne was (and still is today).
