Known for his characters in K-Dramas such as “Propuesta Labora”, “Abbys” or “Las Guerreras del K-Pop”, Ahn Hyo-seop knows better than anyone how important a well-made scene is. He has proven it time and time again in front of the camera. But at CES 2026, the experience was different: this time I wasn’t acting in a scene, but experiencing it from another angle, exploring how home entertainment can feel as cinematic as a movie theater.
During his tour in First look 2026at the Samsung Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the actor immersed himself in an ecosystem of screens, sound and experiences designed to make seeing, hearing and interacting ever more personal, immersive and immersive.
Giant screens for maximum emotions
The centerpiece of the booth was the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, winner of the Best Innovation Award at the CES Innovation Awards 2026. With red, green and blue LEDs smaller than 100 micrometers and a continuous floating screen design, it delivers clarity and depth of color that won’t go unnoticed by An, both as a viewer and as an actor.
“When I watch movies at home, there are always moments when I think, ‘This is really worth seeing in the theater.’ But with a screen like this, I feel like you can be completely immersed in your own home.”
Inspired by Samsung’s design heritage since 2013, this model combines advanced technology with sophisticated aesthetics, functioning as both a movie screen and a piece of art in the home.
Seeing (and hearing) better thanks to AI
Ahn also tested Vision AI, Samsung’s new set of smart features that adjusts picture and sound based on content and user habits.
One of the highlights was the AI football mode, which analyzes the match in real-time to optimize the image, highlight the movement of the ball and adjust the sound of the commentary depending on the intensity of the game. Additionally, it allows you to interact with the screen to view stats, player data and more via the Vision AI Companion.
“The sports function of artificial intelligence immediately caught my attention,” Ahn said. “I honestly thought this could be the next generation of how we experience sports.”

Music Studio 5: when sound is also design
If there was one product that captured Ana’s heart, it was the Music Studio 5, a Wi-Fi speaker designed in collaboration with French designer Erwan Bouroullec, known for his work on The Serif. A self-proclaimed speaker collector, the actor was charmed by both the sleek design and crisp sound.
“I already have six or seven speakers at home, so I tried really hard to resist, but the Samsung Music Studio products made me lose all control.”
It’s no accident: CNET named Music Studio 5 the best home audio at CES 2026.
Music, nostalgia and creativity on the big screen
Ahn also tested Fender Play TV, a guitar learning app created with Fender that’s now available on Samsung TVs. The big screen invites you to engage and learn in a much more exciting way from home.
“Seeing the guitar today at the exhibition and holding it in my hands after so long, I felt a very pleasant feeling of nostalgia. It’s a hobby that I really enjoyed, but that I put on hold for a while. It definitely made me want to go back to him.”
Another product that stood out the most was The Freestyle+, a portable projector that shined at CES with twice the image power and OptiScreen AI technology, voted the best of CES by CNN Underscored.
With this technology, the projector automatically adjusts to uneven surfaces and colors and integrates Vision AI Companion to interact with content in conversation, reinforcing Samsung’s vision of personal and intelligent entertainment.
More than screens: Experiences that connect
At the end of his visit, Ahn reflected on what the experience meant. “It is a great honor for me to start 2026 as a Samsung TV ambassador,” he said. “Today reminded me why Samsung has been a world leader in TVs for 20 years – it’s not just about technology, it’s about creating experiences that connect with people.”
And here, who gave life to so many unforgettable characters on the screen, left CES in a new way: this time, admiring everything that happens behind her.
