A big thing missing from the Nintendo Switch catalog. Metroid Prime 4, the fourth installment in Samus Aran’s shooter saga, was announced at E3 2017 and we haven’t heard much since. Rumors and leaks suggest that its development was restarted in 2020 by Retro Studio.
It’s logical to think that Metroid Prime 4 could arrive in 2024, and it might even be a simultaneous release on Switch and its successor. In addition, also Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption are rumored to be returning with individual remasters.
