Why should you play?
DiRT Rally 2.0 allows us to immerse ourselves in a solid, realistic driving experience that, despite the lack of a WRC license, accurately conveys the huge number of surfaces that drivers face. It’s a game built for driving fun because of the amount of nuance that goes from the terrain to the controls. Obviously with a controller you can play it, but the amount of patching it requires is hard to put on a stick.
Officially licensed FIA World Rallycross has been added to the traditional World Tour (Continuous Trials), Time Trial and Individual Rally modes. For those who don’t know what it’s all about, it’s a closed track rally car championship that mixes different surfaces on the same track. Added to the more than 50 base cars is the availability of additional content worth knowing. Titled Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack, includes a variety of the driver’s legendary cars and 40 scenarios highlighting some of his greatest moments on the track. In addition, 12 rally routes are included in some areas of Scotland.
