Final Fantasy VII Rebirth introduced us to the entire cast of the original game in its trailers, ie. Cloud, Aerith, Barret, Tifa, Red XIII and Yuffie, which were already in Remake. In addition, we also saw Kate Sit, Syd and Vincent. However, as happened with Remake, not all playable characters, but they also accompany us on our journey. Now we will talk about the characters that are added and playable in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Before we start, it’s clear that Cloud, Aerith, Barret, Tifa, Red XIII, and Yuffie are all playable characters. In fact, Red XIII accompanied us in the last installment of FFVII Remake, though he wasn’t playable, just a background character to help flesh out the story. Yuffie had her own adventure in FF7 Remake INTEGRADE, which is necessary to understand her role in the game.
But what about Kate Sith, Syd and Vincent? Cait Sith joins the party in the Gold Saucer, which also happened in the original game. We’ll be able to handle Keith Sith with no problem and use his muggle friend to land the best hits. As for Sid and Vincentas happened with Red XIII in the Remake, They will only be background characters. however, Sid will help us with the trips both by air and sea, although he will not yet participate in battles. For his part, Vincent will accompany us without participating in the battles, but it will be a fundamental part of the story. In fact, it seems like he’s been given a deeper background and context than the original game, and we hope to see more of him in the third part of these “Remakes”.
Although it may seem bad that not all of them are playable, let’s remember that they also have to save something for the third part. In addition, both Sid and Vincent They have somewhat complicated backstories, and we hope to see them develop in the Rebirth sequel.
