The arrival of the Galaxy A17 5G and A07 strengthens Samsung’s presence in Colombia with two models that expand the Galaxy A line and respond to the key needs of the modern user, such as security, continuity and connectivity. Both devices have security features and an extended support period that extends the life of the device.

The company confirmed that the new Galaxy A will receive up to six years of security updates and future versions of One UI, a solution that aims to keep the device stable for longer and reduce exposure to rapidly evolving digital risks.

Both models integrate Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based security system that protects sensitive data such as credentials, digital keys, and payment methods. Its work isolated from the operating system prevents unauthorized access even in the case of physical manipulation attempts or malicious programs.

Security features also cover situations of loss or theft. In addition, the remote lock allows you to disable the use of the phone and suspend the validity of the cards registered in Samsung Pay. Added to that is SmartThings Find, which makes it easy to locate your device, enable alerts, and enable remote wipe.

A 2.2GHz and 2.0GHz octa-core processor, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage expandable up to 2TB, delivers the performance you need for frequently used apps and content.

The main camera combines 50 MP and 2 MP sensors, and the front one – 8 MP. The hardware records in FHD format at 30 frames per second and has a slow motion option at 120 frames per second. The 5,000 mAh battery supports daily use without frequent recharging, while 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensure communication and navigation. The model retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, useful for those who prefer wired accessories.
