A few days ago I decided to go to Madrid to visit friends and I decided to fly from Tenerife with Iberia, an option that usually takes about 3 hours. Since I had time to work and play, I decided to leave the Nintendo Switch at home and choose an aspect that I have never used: Games about the planes of Iberia. However, before I get into it and explain why I hold such a radical opinion, I must admit that it has been a few days and I still regret that decision.

Anyone who has traveled with a Spanish company and used their Express Onboard service will know what I mean when I say that the selection of video games lousy. Currently, Iberia has 9 games in its catalog more than a competent choice to devote a few minutes to each. However, the truth is only that 2 They are really worth it, as the rest of the catalog consists of children’s offerings that have little value beyond the didactic aspect, or games that, despite their potential, tire after 2-3 plays.
Puzzle games win
For me, the two best options in the Iberia game catalog 2048 year in Oh, hello. The first suggests adding multiples of 2 in a 4×4 space until reaching 2048, a rate that presents a real challenge; The second, for its part, directly hints at ingenuity by offering boards of different sizes (such as 4×4 or 6×6) that cannot have three red or blue pieces connected together. Aside from those two, the rest of the catalog consists of games that aren’t even worth finding unless you’re a kid eager to learn.
So the full list of Iberia Club Express Onboard games is as follows:
- 100 little monsters– Throw monsters into the cockpit, make them change color and repeat until you run out of monsters.
- 2048 year: a puzzle game, add multiples of 2 until you reach 2048.
- Colorcloud: Select an image and paint with the colors you want.
- Dean’s Lab– Go through mini-games with dinosaurs and discover interesting facts about them.
- Donut shooter– Shoot donuts and form chains of 3 to remove them from the screen.
- Liquidation– Match the shapes according to their color to get the most points in the shortest time.
- Oh, hello: Fill the boards of different sizes by preventing 3 red or blue blocks from coming together.
- Super math– Make sums to stop thieves, destroy dangerous asteroids and more.
- Tower game– Stack the floors of the tower and form the tallest building of all.
So, while it was clear that the Iberia games, or any other aircraft, were not going to live up to my expectations, I can at least say that I spent almost 3 hours flying to squeeze the best out of each of them. Although, to be honest, I have to admit that I’ve been playing 2048 for most of that time, a title I discovered on my trip back in 2013, and since then it’s been the app I’ve used the longest. on my mobile. So, to no one’s surprise, you shouldn’t waste the minutes of the flight trying to get into the offers of the airlines.
