Kalypso Media has announced a new title in the RTS series Commandos: Commandos: Origins. Developed Claymore Game Studios, and will be released in 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and will also be available on day one for Game Pass.
The prequel to the series, a real-time tactic, tells the story of the beginning of World War II. Jack O’Hara returns as the Green Beret, and along with his companions, players can use their abilities, from explosive sapper to elusive spy, to carry out rescue missions and raids. Stealth and diversion are your main goals, not direct gunfights.
There are over ten missions based on authentic World War II environments, from the Arctic to the African desert, with two-player co-op support (both online and split-screen). You can command your whole team, drive vehicles, etc. at the same time. Stay tuned for more details before the game launches.
