There is a timed research quest along the Routes until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 8 (local time) in Pokémon Go. To get all the rewards for this quest, you must complete it before the deadline or they will disappear forever.

Keep in mind that this quest is centered around Routes, so you’ll need to use this feature to complete it.

• Explore 1 km – Voula
• Send a gift to a friend – 5 Pinap Berries
• Explore 2 km – Paumi
• Explore 5km – Feebas
• Send 3 gifts to friends – 1 incense
• Explore 7km – Hisuian Sneasel

Rewards: 1500 XP, 1500 Stardust and an encounter with Hisuian Sneasel.

Timeless travel season has arrived in Pokémon Go! The Along the Routes event is here, bringing gift exchanges and the Path to New Friendships quest. Meanwhile, take the time to try out Routes and Party Play while you hunt for rare Pokémon, compete in the Go Battle League, or compete in PokéStop Showcases.

Field research tasks along routes in Pokémon Go

Event-exclusive field research tasks can be obtained by spinning PokéStops during Pokémon Go’s Along the Routes event. These tasks can then be saved to your field research collection and completed after the event if you so choose.

Here are the Along the Routes field research tasks in Pokémon Go:

• Hatch the egg the reward is a meeting with Wulu
• Earn candy by walking your friend reward – 5 Big Balls
• Send a gift to a friend reward is 5 poke balls
• Send 3 gifts and add a sticker to each the reward is an encounter with Eevee
• Trade Pokemon reward is an encounter with Hisuian Sneasel

Everything you need to know about Pokémon Go’s Along the Routes event

Along the Routes brings the Gift Sharing feature to Routes to Pokémon Go. This allows you to exchange gifts with players from all over the world every time you complete a Route thanks to Mateo – a new character also debuts! Who knows, maybe with this feature you’ll be able to add a new Vivillion pattern to your collection

A new Special Research quest called A Route to New Friendships has also arrived with the release of Gift Exchange.

Along with these, there are also four bonuses that run during the Along the Routes event, with the first one being the best, as eggs placed in the incubator during the event will have 1/2 the hatch distance.

You’ll also earn double Stardust for opening Gifts and triple XP for spinning PokéStops, with this amount being increased to x5 the first time you spin that PokéStop.

Along the Routes also marks the release of the brilliant Hisuian Sneasel and Sneasler.

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild throughout the event:

• Hitmantop
• Spoynk
• Feebas
• Lillipop
• Wubat
• Emolga
• Vulu
• Half up

Any 7km Eggs you collect with gifts during routes will have the following pool:

• Hisuyan Growlit
• Togepi
• Sneasel
• Hisuyan Sneazel
• Bonsley
• Espurr

Finally, you’ll also be able to enter both Sneasel and Hisuian Sneasel at PokéStops during Along the Routes.
