Rockstar confirms that GTA 6 will be coming to PS5 and Xbox, but does not mention PC

After Rockstar Games prematurely released the GTA 6 trailer due to an early leak, Take-Two’s PR team has offered more details about the game, giving PC players some bad news.

According to a press release issued by parent company Take-Two, GTA 6 will initially launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but they did not mention a PC platform. Both Grand Theft Auto V and IV were released first on consoles before coming to PC years later.

“Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the boundaries of what’s possible in immersive, story-driven open-world games,” said Sam Hauser, founder of Rockstar Games. “We are excited to be able to share this new vision with players around the world.”

According to PR, Grand Theft Auto VI will take place in the state of Leonidas, “home to the neon-drenched streets of Vice City and beyond,” in what Take-Two calls “the biggest and most exciting evolution of Grand Theft yet.” The automatic series is still.”

GTA 6 is set in Leonida, a version of the state of Florida, but in the Grand Theft Auto universe, and will have two main characters: a man named Jason and a woman named Lucia. The first trailer confirms the release time sometime in 2025, and you can see, among the already mentioned features, advanced graphics, mayhem, robberies, a bit of romance between the main characters in pure Bonnie and Clyde style, and much more.

GTA 6 has suffered from numerous leaks in recent years

It’s not surprising to see one of the most anticipated games among gamers suffer from some sort of leak, especially when it’s a game developed by Rockstar Games. One of the gaming industry’s most high-profile leaks has seen over an hour of GTA 6 development footage posted online, giving players their first look at the sequel to one of the best-selling games of all time.

This leak revealed the game’s location, main characters, and several mechanisms that will be in this video game when it launches, which is scheduled for 2025.
