We already had a fixed date for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. Back in November, industry insiders claimed that the Galaxy S26 would be unveiled on February 25 in San Francisco. However, another report from South Korea later suggested that a January 2026 launch could still be possible thanks to significant efforts from the entire Samsung team.
Just before the end of the year, new clues have surfaced about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. Unfortunately, they’re less encouraging for Samsung fans, who will likely have to wait much longer to see the successors to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra (starting at $1,099 on Amazon). Late last week, Korean publication YNA commented on the Galaxy Unpacked event that took place in February in the US as part of a report on Samsung’s new Exynos 2600 chipset.
No specific date has been mentioned, but if February 25th is the actual release date, the new Galaxy S26 line could be available in stores as early as March. Given the usual booking periods, the new Samsung phones could be launched after the Mobile World Congress, which takes place from March 2 to 5, 2026. This was also confirmed today by the famous leaker Ice Universe, who predicts a February opening and March availability, which I hope is true, despite a grammatical error in his post.
