Samsung announced a partnership with Spotify in Mexico and Latin America to offer up to three months of Premium to those who purchase new Samsung Galaxy A57 and Samsung Galaxy A37, in a move that seeks to strengthen the appeal of the Galaxy A series beyond hardware and compete with an offering based on user experience.
In a statement, the brand emphasized that the promotion will allow new users to access an ad-free experience with offline downloads and on-demand playback, features that are part of the competition for consumer retention in the mobile ecosystem today.
The rate is also supported by numbers and according to Spotify, the platform closed 2025 with more than 290 million Premium subscribers worldwide, while its total monthly user base has surpassed 700 million, consolidating itself as the largest music streaming service in the world.
While consulting firm Counterpoint Research noted that Samsung remains one of the world’s major smartphone manufacturers by volume, making the alliance a relevant play in the digital ecosystem.

Samsung x Spotify: The brand wants to sell experiences, not just smartphones
In addition to promotion, the alliance reveals Samsung’s commercial approach to the new Galaxy A series. The company no longer sells just one device; sells connected experiences that combine hardware, artificial intelligence and digital entertainment.
The new Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 combine CPU, GPU and NPU improvements to optimize streaming, navigation and multitasking, and its 5,000mAh battery promises up to two days of use under certain conditions.
Added to this is fast charging and IP68 certification, features that point to the consumer using the smartphone as a daily entertainment center, from long trips to exercise or remote work.
Samsung has also integrated AI features such as Google search circlewhich allows you to identify songs, artists or related content from the screen, making music discovery easier. The logic is clear: make listening to music, viewing content and consuming entertainment happen in the same seamless experience.

The formula has already produced results in industry
The connection between technology and content platforms has proven to be effective in increasing sales and user retention.
Apple has made Apple Music an important part of its ecosystem of devices, while Amazon has done the same with Amazon Music and its smart speakers.
Samsung aims to repeat this logic from the other side: the middle class, one of the most competitive segments in Latin America.
According to Canalys, this region remains one of the most dynamic for mid-range smartphones, driven by consumers looking for better performance without entering the premium range.
