Kenzeri’s Tales: WARM UP

In the text we leave you below, those responsible for the title describe in detail their inspiration for the development. You already know that this game has a unique perspective. Abubakar Salimthe title’s developer, confirmed that the loss of his father to cancer inspired him to explore grief in the game.

Salim shared with Polygon how the game turns to grief, reflecting his own experience. A game about developing a character in an unknown world, discovering tools to overcome barriers. This story reflects the experience of dealing with emotional issues, exploring the idea that some obstacles can only be overcome by moving forward and understanding them better.

These were his words:

You develop a character in the middle of nowhere, they have no idea where they are going or where they are. They have a vague idea, but not exactly. And the more time you spend with it, the more tools you unlock to be able to maneuver around it. Sometimes you’ll run into something that seems like a barrier you can’t get past. Just until you go a little further and say, “Oh, that makes sense.” I’m going back there.

What do you think? See you in the comments!
