Firmware update 23.02-08.40.00 is now available for the Sony console, which introduces some unexpected new features.
It’s important to keep our consoles up to date. Many times they don’t add major changes and new features, but they introduce performance improvements. This is a case new updatewhich is now available on PS5.
All PlayStation 5 users can now download the update. If your console is connected to the Internet, it will download and install without any problems.

Update includes firmware version 23.02-08.40.00which introduces important improvements to Sony’s next-generation console.
Don’t expect a big update either, but it definitely brings more changes than the previous ones. Note that this firmware version can now be downloaded at PS5.
What’s new in the update 02.23-08.40.00
Before this update, version 23.02-08.20.02 was the most recent version. At the time, only PS5 performance was improved, but with the 02.23-08.40.00 update, that will change.
