The Espire 1 is getting everything Quest had and more on PC VR today

Stealth game Espire 1: VR Operative today received its biggest update in three years for its PC VR version, a patch that includes all the missions, weapons, challenges and improvements that were in Quest. In addition, Convergence Update includes additional features for SteamVR and Rift platforms.

Convergence Update

  • Other tests: Furcata and Cicurina (hostage rescue), Mangua (withdrawal), Crassipes (stealth), Horcotes (elimination).
  • New scenario Coober Pedy– An underground mining town in South Australia with a hotel, church, connected caves and Ophis HQ.
  • Weapons: The Specter submachine gun is playable in the campaign with a silencer and saw.
  • Changes in the user interface.
  • Summary of expenses.
  • Elimination of “flashbacks” in the company.
  • Compatible with all PC VR headsets and controllers.
  • Update to Unreal Engine 4.25.
  • Quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

Research Digital mode criticized for “abandoning” the PC VR version Exhale 1, so this update, while late, could be its redemption. Its second installment, Espire 2, was released only for the Meta Quest and PICO headsets.
