Square Enix made good on its promise a few days ago: it released patch 1.030 for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Weighing in at 4.9GB, the update aims to fix a progression bug that prevented players from getting the platinum trophy.
In recent weeks, several people have commented on a bug in the “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” side mission that did not give high scores in the G-Bike minigame and locked out trophies as a result. Now, after applying the update, players can ensure that everything is in line, although it is necessary to achieve the mini-game objectives again.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Patch 1.030 also fixes other issues related to data saving and visual glitches. Check out the notes below:
- Fixed a bug in the “Can’t Stop, Can’t Stop” side mission that occurs in Chapter 12 where it would not progress even if the conditions of the G-Bike minigame were met.
- You will need to complete the G-Bike minigame objectives again to continue the quest.
- If you have already completed that relevant quest, your progress will not be lost.
- Fixed an error that occurred when completing certain stages of certain investigations.
- Fixed a rare issue where new stages would not open in Battle Simulator.
- Fixed a bug where Favorability Rating did not increase even if you selected an option that increased Favorability Rating under certain conditions.
- When there was an issue where the Sabotender Senbon Sniper trophy could not be obtained even if the conditions were met, it has been fixed so that it can be earned.
- Fixed some errors when loading save data under certain circumstances, as well as forced exit and inability to progress during gameplay.
- Fixed some visual bugs.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available exclusively for PS5.
