Xbox CEO says dismissal will post Microsoft gaming departments for “constant success”
According to Jason Schreier Bloomberg’s new report, Xbox began to report to its various subsidiaries what will do job cuts to control costs. King, manufacturers of Candy Crush, eliminates 10% of its employees, which is approximately 200 jobs. Other studios, such as Zenimax, were also affected, and more is expected to be announced.
Microsoft Gaming Chief Executive Director Phil Spencer told Bloomberg that the layoffs would “position the game for constant success.”

This news comes only a couple of days after Laura Fryer, one of the original Xbox founders, said she believed that the equipment of the company is “dead” and that it is “not satisfied” by its recent change.
“Obviously, as one of the founders of the Xbox team, I am not satisfied with where things are going today,” Fireer said. “I do not like to watch the whole value I helped create slowly. I’m sad because, from my point of view, Xbox has no desire – or literally cannot – put the equipment anymore. So, this partnership is slow out of the equipment.
