The Flareon Wood Carving was made by Reddit user Exciting-Education16 who posted their handiwork on one of the top sites Pokemon pages. While the exact types have yet to be revealed, several types of wood can be seen on full display with a gorgeous display of Flareon’s reddish-orange fur.
Although Floreon’s eyes and ears are almost certainly painted by human hands, the wood tones of the work – while natural, but still canonically approximated – are impressive in their own right. The post is definitely popular in the Pokemon fandom, as at the time of writing the post is close to 200 votes. There have also been many jokes from fans about Fire-type being ironically made of wood, including many jokes about “wood”.
