Adobe Premiere for iOS now gives you a dedicated place to create engaging short films

Adobe announced a partnership with YouTube in October to add a new feature to its Premiere mobile app that will give creators a dedicated place to create and publish short films. At the time, the company didn’t share a release timeline for the Create for YouTube Shorts feature, only saying it would be coming soon to the Premiere app for iOS. The feature is finally rolling out.

In a recent blog post, Adobe announced that a new content creation space for YouTube Shorts is now available in the Premiere mobile app for iOS. It gives users access to many useful tools for creating polished YouTube shorts, including exclusive templates, transitions, presets, effects, and more.

Adobe notes that the authoring space is designed to help users easily create interesting videos, even if they have no previous video editing experience. It has a huge selection of exclusive effects, transitions and title presets, as well as many ready-made templates that creators can use to create attractive shorts.

Shorts Space allows users to create and share original templates to “help inspire others and create new trends on YouTube,” and publish finished videos directly to YouTube Shorts in a few clicks. This new space is perfect for both experienced creators and those looking to get started on their YouTube Shorts journey, as it not only simplifies the creation process, but also offers access to advanced video editing tools such as unlimited multi-track scaling, studio-quality voiceover features, and Firefly-powered AI features to create unique assets.

The Create for YouTube Shorts feature is now available in the Premiere app on iOS. You can download it for free from the App Store and click the new “Create for YouTube” option to try Adobe’s templates, effects and transitions to bring your shorts to life. At the moment, the program is not available for Android, but Adobe has already confirmed that it is already working and may appear in the near future.
