And when you enter, you find a completely different game, so we can classify it as a scam.
Baldur’s Gate III was a sensation, becoming one of the best RPGs ever since its launch. This, of course, means that many other projects will try to adapt the various formulas that characterize this title, with the main goal of achieving the same success that Larian Studios’ game achieved. That’s said to be a given, but we didn’t expect copies to arrive so quickly given that recently What appears to be a blatant mobile copy of Baldur’s Gate III has gone viral on social media.
As you can see below, it’s about Nevermore: Idle Inmortal RPG, later renamed Balder War: Epic Inmortal RPG, a game that, as shared by the following user, has an image suspiciously similar to Baldur’s Gate III promotional artfeaturing Astarion on the cover with slightly more refined features than the original.

Of course, and as you’ve probably already guessed from the title, we’re talking about a title that doesn’t have much to do with the Larian game, but rather uses a very similar promotional image to attract users who want to play Baldur’s Gate III on mobile phones. Unfortunately, this is a fairly common tactic, so we shouldn’t be surprised, but the truth is that it’s still scarce.
No longer available
As of this writing, this game is no longer accessible, at least from a web browser. Also, when you try to find it in the App Store, other games appear instead, so we understand that Larian Studios or even users reported itwhich caused Apple itself to remove it from their store as it is a complete scam.
Unfortunately, we’ve seen this many times, and as much as it’s morally wrong, it’s a completely illegal strategy, especially considering they used images from the original game to promote it. For this reason, Apple’s speed in this regard is to be applauded, given this ensured that no more users will be fooled by this trick.
