The facility is equipped with 80 state-of-the-art computers and gaming consoles such as PlayStation for all types of gamers.
This marks a big step for the LAN Center, as it is not only a space with technological devices and fiber for the Internet, it will also house gamer coaches, sports psychologists and other specialists who will support the development of professional players who come to this training center.
“The video game industry has grown significantly, we even export professional Dota 2 players to other continents. There are a ton of players who are not only training to become professional players, but the audience has grown by 25-30% compared to other years. People no longer see video games as a topic of entertainment, but also plan to build a professional career.“said Mariano Tapia, President of APDEV.
“We are going to develop national leagues. We have some video games that are not relevant yet, but I can confirm that we will have Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter Strike, FIFA; and we are definitely also going to develop what the Viewer parties are, with a white march this year for the League of Legends World Cup Finals and The International of Dota 2″ he added.
This high-performance eSports center will allow us to identify new talent that will be considered by foreign clubs. The new center has four rooms for computers and game consoles, a conference room and soon a terrace.
